We will assist to ensure all relative material damage documentation is submitted by ICBC prior to settlement. We will review and report on the damage repair estimates of both the defendant and claimants vehicles. All completed repair supplements and supplement pictures and documentation for both parties will be reviewed and reported on. If the vehicles have not been repaired or in the process of being repaired, we will arrange an inspection of the damage prior to or during the repairs.
If the insurance company has submitted an engineer’s report into evidence, the report will be reviewed and a rebuttal prepared if required.
All reports will be formatted to comply with the R40A Supreme Court Rules with respect to expert opinion evidence.
Total Loss Evaluations and Other Claim Related Issues.
We are aware that law firms receive calls from clients regarding the Total Loss of their vehicles and other claim related issues. Most callers are concerned with the settlement offer ICBC has made with respect to the value of their vehicles. These calls can be passed directly onto Eye on Collision Repairs for solution. We will assist the client with their claim without involvement of the law firm, unless there is an injury claim or unsubstancialted claim denial.
